WHAT SHOULD BE SAID

By Simon Fischler and Mahmoud Abbas

If we lived in a perfect world this is the letter the people of Israel and the Jewish Nation would receive from Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas prior to the resumption of any peace talks.

Dear Israelis,

I am writing this to you to do finally what all of my predecessors have failed to do: to apologize to the citizens of the State of Israel and the Jewish Nation for the pain and anguish we the Palestinian, Arab and Muslim world have caused you.

We have been dishonest with you from the beginning. We have done all we can to deny you your unquestionable right to the land of Israel.

The dishonesty goes back to the Grand Mufti of Jerusalem Haj Amin Al Husseni who worked with Hitler during World War Two, staying with him in Berlin throughout the War.

Husseni’s perfidy extended to raising Nazi SS brigades for Hitler and creating his own version of the “Final Solution” for the Jews of the Palestine Mandate. That means we, the Palestinians, sided and aided the Nazis and were very much a cog in the Nazi-perpetrated Holocaust.

We the Palestinians cannot apologize enough for this.

After the crimes he committed during World War Two, Haj Amin next organized the Hebron and Arab riots of Palestine, causing the deaths of hundreds of Jews. The Hebron riots also led to the forceful expulsion -- by Arabs -- of the Jews who were the majority in the city until that moment.

Instead of compromising as you did and accepting the UN partition of the Palestine Mandate, we opted for war, promising to annihilate you. We wished for nothing more than to throw you into the sea, exactly as our leaders promised us. We misjudged your determination then, as we have many times since.

Because of our mistakes we have never achieved our national goal of statehood. Because of our mistakes we have created the Palestinian refugee problem. The mistakes that we, the leaders of the Palestinian Nation, have made are the root cause of the Middle-East conflict.

Worst of all, we have never taken responsibility for the actions that have caused so much pain to both of our peoples. We are a prideful people; because of this we have tried to blame you instead of taking responsibility for what we have wrought.

Not only have our mistakes caused thousands of Israeli deaths, they have also caused thousands of our own people to die.

So, I Mahmoud Abbas wish to apologize to the citizens of Israel. I also want to state that Israel has every right to exist and to exist as the Jewish State; not that you need me to say that.

For far to long we the Palestinians and the Arab nation have tried to erase the historical facts that make Israel yours. From the desecration of the Temple Mount. when we built the Dome of the Rock and the Al Aksa mosque, to burning the Jewish Quarter of the old city to the ground during the Israeli War of Independence.

I hope that by accepting these responsibilities and by apologizing, we can now move towards achieving peace between our two peoples.

With Utmost Sincerity, I am

Mahmoud Abbas,
President,
Palestinian Authority

NO MORE FENCE SITTING

By Simon Fischler

Britain and the British have long been a thorn in the side of the Jewish nation and the state of Israel.

It was British colonial rulers who worked with colonialist Arabs to form the heretofore nonexistent Kingdom of Jordan by stealing three quarters of the Palestinian Mandate which was to make up the Jewish Homeland.

It was the British who trained and led the Jordan Legion during the Israeli War of Independence. It was this British-officered Army that stormed into the ancient Jewish Quarter of Jerusalem and burned it to the ground.

The British are not the friends of Israel and the anti-Semitism that is rooted in British history has risen up like the phoenix.

The actions of the Trade Union Congress attest to this. Here is a group that supposedly supports the two state solution. Yet, they have teamed up with another organization called the Palestine Solidarity Movement. This group is as anti-Israel, anti-Semitic and fascist as it gets. The PSM advocates destroying Israel, denying the Israeli people their right to freedom and self-determination.

They are campaigning against Israeli population centers in Judea and Samaria. Their campaign slogan is “Would you buy stolen goods?”. Problem is the goods aren’t stolen: the land is disputed and until there is a resolution and peace, the Jews living there have every right under international law to be there. I might not agree with Israeli settlements, but thanks to the Palestinians’ determination to destroy Israel instead of building their own country the settlements are rightfully still there.

If you team up with an organization that wishes to destroy an open, liberal and democratic country only because it happens to be the Jewish State, that means you are actively aiding and abetting anti-Semitic and fascist behavior.

Interesting how none of these European groups took it upon themselves to boycott the Palestinians after they rejected peace and statehood in 2000 and then started a war with Israel.

The mentality of the Trade Union Congress is just as worrying as the vile policies of the PSM. They seem to think because they say they support a two-state solution all is okay. Many Germans during World War 2 said they didn’t support the Nazi regime. That’s fine, the only problem there is they just let that regime kill six million Jews.

Persistently this type of passive anti-Semitism by the TUS is taking hold in Europe as the more aggressive anti-Semitism carried out by the PSM becomes increasingly more acceptable.

You cannot sit on the fence anymore when it comes to the situation with Israel and her neighbors.

Israel has been searching for peace for the last seventeen years (since the Oslo Accords of 1993). The Palestinians, hiding behind phony peace intentions have been slowly trying to delegitimize Israel’s right to exist during this entire time.
Can I say that Israel has been totally right since the signing of the Oslo Accords? Of course not, but as I have written many times, Israel has done more to create a Palestinian State than any other Arab nation, or the Palestinians, have. Boycotting Israel is both wrong and a form of anti-Semitism. Working with organizations calling for her destruction is anti-Semitic, fascist and genocidal. I don’t know how many times I have to reiterate these ominous facts in order to make an impression.

Sadly, as history has shown, leave it to the British to support these causes.

THE ATTEMPT TO DELEGITIMIZE ISRAEL: ARAB COLONIALISM AT ITS BEST

By Simon Fischler

Today there is a movement to delegitimize the state of Israel, brand her an apartheid nation and force upon her a one-state solution.

The people behind this movement are sophisticated in their propaganda and malicious in their intent.

Israel is both the Jewish nation and a democratic state at the same time (the only democracy in the entire Middle East). All of her citizens have the right to vote -- Israeli Arabs, Bedouin, Druze and Circassians included.

The Arab Muslim population of Israel has far more rights than in any other country in the entire Arab/Muslim world, an indisputable fact. There are thirteen Arab and five Druze members in the Knesset. In Apartheid South Africa black Africans were not allowed to vote at all.

The Arab Israeli population is free to live, work and play where they want in Israel. The fact that most Israeli Arabs elect to live in discreetly separate villages is a matter more of historical, cultural, tribal and/or religious choice, but under Israeli law, they are legally free to live anywhere. Some do, and in the Lebanon conflict of 2006, Israeli Arabs were bombed – in Haifa and in many outlying villages and orchards in the North, which is heavily populated with Druze, Circassians and Israeli Arabs of so-called “Palestinian” descent.

Israeli Arabs can marry Jewish Israelis. In Apartheid South Africa black Africans were not allowed to go to white beaches, were not allowed to use white public bathrooms, were not allowed to marry whites, were not allowed to drink from white water fountains, etc. The black South Africans were totally segregated from the white community by law.

The Occupied Territories-

In the occupied territories the Palestinian population has the right to vote for their government, and have twice.

However, much to the vocal dismay of some misled, left-leaning activists the Palestinian population cannot move about and live their lives as freely as they had in the past.

Why is that?

In 2000, at the Taba negotiations Yasser Arafat was offered full peace, including a Palestinian State on 95-97% of the land of Judea and Shomron (or the West-bank as it is wrongfully called by many today), Arab sections of East Jerusalem, the Muslim and Christian quarters of the Old City and all of Gaza.

Yassar Arafat turned this offer of peace down; Arafat turned down the formation of the Palestinian State. He did this because he wanted everything, not just Palestine: he wanted Israel too.

He insisted that Israel accept the unacceptable: the right of return for millions of Palestinian refugees to Israel. The idea of Israel taking responsibility for a war started by the Arab population of Mandate Palestine and the neighboring Arab states is totally insane. The “refugees” created by this war can be attributed mostly to the Arab nations that started it. It is a known fact, admitted by many Arabs of the time, that they urged the Arab population of Palestine to flee. Here are some quotes.

ON SEPTEMBER 6, 1948, the Beirut Daily Telegraph quoted Emil Ghory, secretary of the Arab Higher Committee (AHC), as saying: "The fact that there are those refugees is the direct consequence of the action of the Arab states in opposing partition and the Jewish state. The Arab states agreed upon this policy unanimously..."

ON APRIL 23, 1948 Jamal Husseini, acting chairman of the Palestine AHC told the UN Security Council, "The Arabs did not want to submit to a truce ... They preferred to abandon their homes, belongings and everything they possessed."

IN THE MARCH 1976 issue of Falastin a-Thaura, then the official journal of the Beirut-based PLO, Mahmud Abbas ("Abu Mazen", now Prime Minister of the West Bank PA), then a PLO spokesman, wrote: "The Arab armies entered Palestine to protect the Palestinians from the Zionist tyranny but, instead, they abandoned them, forced them to emigrate and to leave their homeland, and threw them into prisons similar to the ghettos in which the Jews used to live."

ON APRIL 9, 1953, the Jordanian daily al-Urdun quoted a refugee, Yunes Ahmed Assad, formerly of Deir Yassin, as saying: "For the flight and fall of the other villages, it is our leaders who are responsible, because of the dissemination of rumours exaggerating Jewish crimes and describing them as atrocities in order to inflame the Arabs ... they instilled fear and terror into the hearts of the Arabs of Palestine until they fled, leaving their homes and property to the enemy."
These are but a few examples of Arab and Palestinians who attested to the fact that the majority of the Arabs fled the new state of Israel because they were told to by their leaders.

There were definitely situations where the newly formed IDF entered and pushed out Arab communities, but in most cases this was a small proportion. With few exceptions, most of these situations were caused by local Arab populations giving refuge to Arab fighters who were attacking Jewish communities, rendering them viable military targets. What you also do not hear about are the atrocities committed by the arabs against Jewish communities during the Israeli War of Independence.
In fact there were more Jewish refugees created after the Israeli War of Independence when they were robbed of all their lands and possessions and thrown out of Arab countries. There were a total of 900,000 Jewish refugees from Arab countries, compared to 700,000 Arab refugees.

We do not hear about the Jewish refugees today because Israel, unlike surrounding Arab nations and North African Muslim countries, opted to follow the UN partition and managed to win its independence in a brutal war that cost her 5% of her population. Israel also then settled these refugees instead of keeping them in refugee camps as the Arabs have done.
One must also remember that neither Jordan nor Egypt allowed the Palestinians, whose areas they were occupying, their independence. Jordan occupied the West Bank and East Jerusalem (razing the entire Jewish quarter of the Old City during the War of Independence); Egypt the Gaza strip. They easily could have given the Palestinians their independence. In both cases it was easier to keep these supposed Arab brethren locked up in refugee camps, fomenting hate and creating another generation to fight and kill Jews.

Why would the Palestinian leadership want to have their refugees settle in a state that is not theirs? Why wouldn’t they want to settle their refugees in their newly formed state? The only reason for this policy is the unquestionably bigoted and monomaniacal intent to destroy the state of Israel; to wipe out the Jews.
The Hope of the Left, the One State solution and why it is Racist

The idea of a one-state solution would be a great idea if it meant Israel kept all of her settlements bordering the Green Line, while the Palestinians formed a confederated state with Jordan. Any other version of a "one-state solution" is considerably less than unacceptable.

The concept that Arabs or Muslims can have as many states as they wish, but the Jews cannot have one state for themselves, is not just old-school anti-Semitism, it is pure racism. The majority of Israel is Jewish -- 80% Jewish; not South Africa where whites constituted barely 10% of the population.

The mentality and policies of the Radical left, Radical right, Anarchists, self-defined “human rights activists” and their comrades is one of racism/anti-Semitism, although they would no doubt vociferously deny this reality. Why would the Europeans, especially many of the left in Europe, be so pro-independence for a nation like Kosovo and be so strongly against Israel’s self-determination? Kosovo has always been part of Serbia.

Why is it right for the Palestinians to have a state, but not right for the Jewish nation? Why is it that a “nation” or people that has been living and connected to this land centuries before there was a conquered land called “Palestine” (named so by a Roman emperor trying to erase an earlier state of Israel) or a prophet called Mohammad? The only reason is racist/anti-Semitic sentiment.

In truth, it is the Arabs who have executed or proposed policies towards Israel that are far closer to segregation and apartheid. To this day most Arab states behave as if Israel does not exist. Most maps found in the Arab world do not have Israel on them. To this day, textbooks in Arab countries and the Palestinian territories either omit Israel, as though it doesn’t exist, or actively describe Israel as an illegal, usurping enemy to be destroyed.

Under any peace agreement supposedly proposed by Palestinian leaders and/or supporters, Israel would have to remove all Jews from the West Bank. Is that not segregation and/or apartheid? In Jordan, Jews cannot buy land, which is worse than segregation.

As of 2004 the Saudi Arabian tourism website listed 4 groups of people who would not be granted entry visas:
• Israelis and anyone with a passport “that has an Israeli arrival/departure stamp.”
• Those who don’t abide by Saudi traditions, and those under the influence of alcohol.
• Non-Muslims intending to go to Mecca or Medina, where non-Muslims are banned.
• “Jewish people.”

It is one thing to deny Israelis, but to deny those who have traveled to Israel or to deny any Jew is bigoted, racist and anti-semitic!

Thus, those who rally for the One-State solution are either wolves in sheep’s clothing or ignorant fools; both equally dangerous, at least for the state of Israel.

The One-State solution has also been proven totally unworkable in the rest of the world, the former Yugoslavia being a prime example. Those who wish to see this happen must truly want to see the Jews driven out of their land again, as the Arabs have promised often.

The Separation Fence-

The separation fence Israel has been forced to build has become the great fallacy of the Radical Left. Before Arafat and his Palestinians decided against peace and statehood in 2000 and opted for war, there was no barrier. The barrier wasn’t started until the June 16, 2002, two years after Arafat turned his back on peace and instituted Arafat’s War (mistakenly known as the “second intifada”). Israel only began to build this barrier after five suicide bombings in Israel and 91 Israeli deaths. There were many more suicide bombings carried out until the completion of the barrier. Since its completion there have been none!

Most importantly, had the Palestinians opted for peace, the barrier would never have been built. What the Barrier has brought is relative calm, for both Israel and the Palestinians of the West Bank. Israel has been able to turn over cities and land back to the Palestinian Authority and has taken down some checkpoints. The economy of the Palestinian Authority controlled West Bank has improved since the end of suicide attacks. All of this points to positive attributes of the Barrier.

America has built a partial barrier on the border of Mexico; Saudi Arabia on its border with Yemen; the EU in the Spanish enclave of Ceuta bordering Morocco and India along its border with Pakistan. Why should Israel not have the right to build a border fence to protect its citizens, not only to keep out illegal immigrants, but would-be murderers and terrorists?

It is absolutely essential that the government of Israel recognize the genuine danger she now faces from those trying to “delegitimize” her with deliberate, malicious deceit. She must dedicate government money, combine her intelligence forces with grassroots supporters fighting on the verbal “front line” and treat this insidious campaign as an existential threat.
In short, Israel -- and her allies -- must do all they can NOW to expose the Jew-hating elements trying to destroy her.

THE FIFTH COLUMN

By Simon Fischler

Democracy is an integral part of Israeli society and government; it is also important that we Israeli citizens do all we can to protect this crucial element of our national project.

On the other hand there is absolutely no room for those who use the freedoms of democracy to hurt and destroy the state.

Haaretz has moved from being an important media outlet printing a fairly unbiased page, to a radical paper printing unfounded hateful rhetoric against the state and now to a fifth column.

The reaction of Haaretz to the breaking story of its apparent collusion in espionage with a radical leftist soldier who stole 2000 pages of highly classified military documents is in itself damning.

Last Thursday morning the paper went on a full force blitz accusing everyone from the IDF, the Israeli Government and people like me of being fascists because we find spying and espionage against the state of Israel unacceptable. They have hidden behind the word democracy, knowing full well that what they did would be categorized as outright treason in any other democratic nation.

Uri Blau took IDF documents of the most sensitive nature, documents that would never have been allowed into the hands of a journalist in the most open of democratic societies. Most importantly, he took these documents from an admitted radical leftist, who astoundingly happened to be a soldier in one of the highest offices of the IDF command.

One most wonder how the IDF let a soldier of Anat Kamm’s political views into such a highly sensitive position. Maybe it is because the IDF and Israel are both too democratic and too naively believing in the fairness of democracy that they would actually let someone like Kamm achieve the position she was in.

More significant, however, is the fact that Blau knew perfectly well that Kamm did this with intent to harm the state. That is traitorous behavior -- on his part as well as hers.

Blau is now hiding in London, refusing to return to Israel, lying about not having more of these top secret documents in his possession (Kamm allegedly burned almost 2000 classified documents onto a CD). Knowing he is in a hotbed of radical Israeli hatred (London), Blau is using this to his advantage and accusing Israel of attacks against journalism.

This last incident truly reveals how far across the border Haaretz and the people who write for her have gone. The paper, having lost moderate Ze’ev Schiff to old age, has lost all credibility even as a fairly balanced left-leaning media outlet.

Gideon Levy writes the most Anti-Israel rhetoric based on the most atrocious principles. He, like many of his kind, never backs himself up with facts and blatantly distorts the truth on a regular basis. Bradley Burston is a joke, a champion of self-hating Israelis, a man who skips over facts, or puts aside truths to blame Israeli, no matter how right she is and how wrong the Palestinians are.

Haaretz was bought by the owners of the New York Times. The Times, once supposedly a bastion of unbiased thought -- an amazing example of why the freedom of speech is so important -- has become Anti-Israel in a devious manner, partly explaining the change in Haaretz.

Maybe it is time for a private, independent investigation into wether or not Haaretz has jeopardized national security in the Kamm/Blau affair.

Haaretz, Blau and the rest of their crew are very lucky to be living in a country that is as free and democratic as Israel. Their callous and cynical abuse of Israeli democracy and its freedoms is one of the greatest challenges that Israel faces today.

THE FACE OF BARACK OBAMA ON A THREE-DOLLAR BILL

By Schmoel Yitzhak

Although most Americans are aware of George Washington’s face on their one-dollar bills and Abraham Lincoln’s countenance on the fiver, I wonder how many can recall who graces the ten-spo

Just happens to be Alexander Hamilton, killed in an “honor” duel in 1804 by then vice-president Aaron Burr at Weekawken, New Jersey. Thanks to “gangsta” movies and hip-hop, we all know whose mug adorns the 20-dollar bill or “Benjamin:” Benjamin Franklin, of course.

Since the one, five, ten and 20-dollar bills are already facially occupied, my suggestion is that the U.S. Mint immediately smack Barack Obama’s mug on the three-dollar bill.

Ooops! You say that there’s no such thing as a three-dollar bill in the States. Well, you are as right as Sir Obama usually is wrong!

What’s more, you are close to getting my point: that there’s nothing phonier than a three-dollar bill, as the saying goes; nor phonier than the president of the USA

The Democratic leader not only is his country’s con master, he expertly performs that role by employing such tried and true devices as his pseudo-believable grin which has been turned into an art form.

When that grin flashes on naïve Jewish audiences, I’m most reminded of notorious speakeasy operator Texas Guinan who – during the Prohibition Era – would greet her night club patrons with a simple welcome: “Hello, Suckers!”

That’s precisely the aura the president created when he appeared last week at a conference of 6,000 Jewish-Americans in Washington sponsored by the Union for Reform Judaism. These Reform Jews actually believe that Obama is the pal of Jews and, yes, even Israel.

This egregious bit of deception is reminiscent of Jews from the 1930s who believed that Franklin Delano Roosevelt was “a friend of the Jews” despite substantive evidence to the contrary.

Never mind that in June 1939, FDR turned away a shipload of 900 Jewish refugees from Nazi Germany. These poor souls had escaped Hitler’s Final Solution on the SS St.Louis. The vessel actually was in sight of Miami where it hoped to dock, allowing the Jews a blessed taste of freedom. But Roosevelt nixed the mooring and the ship ultimately returned its Jewish cargo back to Europe and certain death.

Nor did FDR do any favors to concentration camp inmates. Despite innumerable opportunities, the president refused to order the railroad tracks to Auschwitz, Dachau and other death factories blasted to smithereens by American bombers.

Barack Hussein Obama has proved to be FDR’s equal as a deceitful “friend of the Jews.” How did America’s super-con man seduce the Reform Jewish crowd? A review of his performance in Washington reveals how and why the Obama act works for Jews.

For openers, the chief executive wooed the eager-to-love audience by telling them his daughter actually goes to bar and bat mitzvahs.

Wow! And the president even had to caution his kid about her skirt length. His staff even had him give the listeners a bit of Tikkun, Olam, not to mention the week’s Torah portion, Hineni. The con then reached its climax when he – for the umpteenth time – opened his canned comment: how he steadfastly supports Israel.

Naturally the crowd ate the prez’s applesauce as though it were 100 percent pure Delicious. How could anyone challenge the man’s support for Jews and Israel after an Oscar-quality performance like that?

America’s finest sardonic comedian, W.C. Fields, had the answer for that in his title film, “Never Give A Sucker An Even Break.” And there were 6,000 Jewish suckers at the Reform event, most of whom were too naïve or too brain-dead to understand that they had just been hoodwinked by America’s “Top Con.”

Had those Reform Jews noticed, they were forewarned about the non-kosher baloney they were about to be served. The S.O.S. (Stop Obama Salivating) came in the form of full-page ads taken out by the Emergency Committee for Israel (ECI) in several leading U.S. newspapers. The warning was as blunt as its theme: STOP BLAMING ISRAEL FIRST.

Unfortunately, the litany of Obama Administration hypocrisy was left almost untouched by the 6,000 Reform Jews.

* They were mute on the repeated snubs Obama has delivered to Benjamin Netanyahu on his visits to Washington, nor did they question Obama’s snide complaints about Bibi with French President Nicolas Sarkozy when the leaders thought they were off-mike.

* They didn’t challenge Obama’s Secretary of State Hilary Clinton on her ignoring the heinous subjugation of women in most Arab countries, yet dared to charge Israel with discrimination against women.

* They abstained from indicting Obama’s Arabist Secretary of Defense, Leon Panetta, who blames Israel for “the failure of talks with the Palestinians,” as though Bibi hasn’t been offering for months to have such a peace parlay.

* Nary a soul present could confront the President about the sin of omission committed by one of his sugar daddies --U.S. envoy to Belgium, Howard Gutman.

Howie recently laid the rise of anti-Semitism in the Arab world to, naturally, the feet of Israel and the deadlocked talks with the PA, conveniently omitting the fact that Arabs have hated Jews for centuries, nearly always violently. Maybe Gutman doesn’t know about the Grand Mufti of Jerusalem who actively and avidly helped Hitler to launch his Final Solution, but he damn well should – and so should those 6000 Reform Jews.

An Israeli who understands the shame of Obama’s sham act before the Reform group, Lynn Sharon, offered this retort in an email to friends: “… Let’s not forget his (Obama’s) unforgettable Cairo speech. He referred several hundred times to the HOLY KORAN. And when he did mention Israel, he forgot our historical and biblical links and roots to the Land of Israel.

“ … He stated to his Cairo audience that the UN ‘gave these Jews part of Palestine’ (a state which never existed) to compensate for the Holocaust. … He later kowtowed to that Saudi Arabian autocratic prince, but did he use that opportunity to visit Israel? … Aren’t we a Middle Eastern state?”

Sharon went on, “The enthusiasm of the audience made me think of obsequious Court Jews. Turn on the charm and use a few Hebrew words, and you have them in your pocket.”

If Obama’s performance at the Reform Movement Conference weren’t so pitiful, it would be funny. In fact, it reminds me of a Groucho Marx line: “These are my principles. If you don’t like them, I have others.”

And if you don’t like those principles the President will do what he did to the Reform group – give you a three-dollar bill!

THE MESSAGE

By Simon Fischler

Am I going crazy? How does a douche bag, hypocrite like Thomas Friedman get printed?

Can someone explain this to me?

In all seriousness, how is it possible that this colossal asshole still gets to comment on the Israeli Prime Minister for a newspaper like The New York Times?

This fool (“Some of my best friends are Jews AND Palestinians”), who sits in his multimillion-dollar mansion in Maryland, is devoid of any idea of the real world, ESPECIALLY when it comes to the Middle-East.

In the last year alone this man has been wrong about everything happening in the Middle East. This is the idiot who told Israel not to worry about the fall of Hosni Mubarak. Yeah, Tommy, Egypt is looking real good (as in, the Egypt-to-Israel pipeline just was bombed for the 10th time, while the Muslim Brotherhood and worse are taking over the country).

Oh yeah, Big Tom the Bomb promised freedom in Libya, too. Wrong again, you schmuck, at least if you are a Jew. Tom, ask David Gerbi about that freedom you predicted. Gerbi, a Libyan Jew whose family was kicked out of Libya (like all the other Jews), came back to fight side by side with his Libyan CO-patriots against Gaddafi. When the war was finished and Gaddafi was, too, David tried to pray. This is what the Arabs had to say to Gerbi, “No place for Jews in Libya."

Tom, Obama should hook you up with a government defense job; the two of you can lose the entire Middle East to the Islamists and Iran in a matter of days!

The fact that The Times keeps Friedman on board says something very important about their honesty. Maybe Friedman had a clue back in the day when he actually worked for a story. But it’s pathetic that The Times is willing to employ a jaded fat cat who refuses to look at reality and basically lives off his wife’s millions.

Does Thomas Friedman think just because he is Jewish he has the right to be overtly anti-Semitic? When you say, as Friedman did, that the Jews have bought Congress, you are on the same level as the Czar’s secret police who wrote The Protocols of the Elders of Zion.

Tom, these members of Congress do not work for The New York Times, nor do most of them have your wife’s millions. If they were to do something as blatantly wrong as what you are implying, their constituents would vote them out in a second. It is too bad the media is not democratic, because your ass should have been voted out a long time ago.

Hey, Tom, Newt Gingrich was historically 100 percent correct when he said the Palestinians are a made-up people.

I know you do not like this, because if people actually start telling the truth, as Gingrich did, your kind would go the way of the Dodo.

I have never been a fan of Gingrich; but man, how sad a world we live in when a politician is defamed for being honest. It is pathetic that the ultimate charlatan Friedman gets to call Gingrich a Panderer to the Jews because he finally stood up to the Arab/Oil lobby and told the truth.

You see, Tom, some of us are very aware of the fact that the only people who truly have the money and resources to "buy" anyone are the Arab/Muslim/Oil Barons who, sadly, are still running and shaping this world.

Tom, a fat-cat aristocrat like yourself probably gets a good chunk of money from some Arab Sheik to keep bashing Israel -- it has simply been laundered so that you think you can safely deny being in their pockets. So stop calling yourself a friend of Israel; that is just an unfunny joke. YOU ARE NO FRIEND OF ISRAEL!

When you are not turning tricks for the P.A. or The Times (which is obviously turning tricks for the oil lobby), you are intentionally making Israel and its pragmatic leadership look bad by carefully and insidiously condemning them for doing what is right for a DEMOCRATIC, JEWISH, ISRAEL. That means not caving into the colonialist aspirations of Fatah, the Palestinian Authority, Hamas or Hezbollah (who, in turn, are mere fronts for more insidious forces, like Iran or Saudi Arabia)

Tom, I know the majority of the people who read your egregious fallacies do not have the time to do their homework. Sadly, they trust you to be honest with them; and that trust gets flushed down the toilet with every single one of your anti-Israel articles in The Times.

These people will probably never know how distant from the truth you have become. They will not know your words often reek like the shit stains of a drunkard’s undies; that your superficially reasoned and honeyed words are but a mask for filth and infamy.

Ah, if I could resurrect the late Israeli Ambassador to the UN, Abba Eban, and combine his DNA with that of Alan Dershowitz, we’d make mincemeat of your not-so-disguised misanthropy and mendacity towards Israel.

With "friends" like you, Tom, who needs enemies?

FAULTLINES ... OR OEDIPUS REDUX!

by Sarah Walton

It's not the Palestinian people who are at fault, who are the real enemy of Israel.

After all, since the day their leaders urged them to flee their homes so that "the mighty Arab armies could more easily wipe out the usurping Jews," the people now called "Palestinians" simply have been doing what their leaders told them to do.

It's their leaders who truly want to destroy Israel.

So Israel-hatred is laced through kids' text books (despite western demands to excise Israel-hatred) and driven into the people's heads from street corners, pulpits, over local TVs. The people are tacitly -- or openly -- encouraged to throw those rocks, strap on those bombs, scream that rhetoric. Worse, they've had more than two generations of having this anti-Jewish hatred pumped into them.

In other words, the so-called Palestinian people are simply cannon fodder for more powerful individuals' agendas, such as the Arab lobby, the Islamic lobby, the oil lobby, the left lobby -- who knows, probably the Green Lobby, the PETA lobby and antidisestablishmentarians!

Palestinians have been held in refugee camps NOT by Israeli "occupation," but by the UN and because keeping them in camps and ghettos has served a purpose for those in power who have never given up the intent to destroy the Jewish state.

If the people have no real home in what could have been a Palestinian state, the possibility exists that they might one day have a home in what was Israel. That is the primary reason why refugee camps still exist in Gaza, the West Bank and even Lebanon.

The Palestinian people could have had their state in 1947, but had they accepted the division of British Mandate Palestine, there still would have been war between Israel and Palestine, for largely physical reasons that have NEVER been addressed.

Why?

For one thing the whole problem of how Israel would exist between Gaza and the West Bank has never been addressed realistically or practically. This incredible physical divide -- which is far more important and difficult than a few settlements in Judea and Samaria (parts of the Old Kingdom of Israel now called "The West Bank") would be as problematic today as it was then, were a Palestinian state created tomorrow.

This is a topic which deserves discussion; not whether Israel should be boycotted or divested.

Secondly, when the Mandate was divided into Israel, non-realized Palestine and the Kingdom of Jordan, why was Jordan so huge, while Israel and Palestine would be so small? Was it simply because most of Jordan is barren, mountainous and largely uninhabited?

Or could it have been because western oil powers knew that much of what would become Jordan had no major oil reserves?

This is a topic which deserves discussion; not whether Israel should return that part of the Syrian Rift known as the Golan heights to Madman Assad.

Why is Jordan called the Hashamite Kingdom? Who are the Hashamites? Who put the monarchy there? How is it that a "foreign" monarchy is ruling a majority Palestinian population (unacknowledged by anyone), is from a different religious sect of Islam than most of the population (which Assad is, too), was basically put there by a colonial power and yet has had fewer problems from the "Arab Spring" that has impacted virtually every other Islamic country in the Middle East?

This is a topic deserving discussion; not whether Israel is committing suicide by not "embracing" the Arab Spring.

Who really wants Israel to keep a strong presence on the eastern edge of the West Bank, along the Dead Sea and down to Eilat? Not the US or the EU, but King Abdullah of Jordan.

Israel has treaties with only two surrounding Arab nations: Egypt and Jordan (there has never been an actual signed treaty with Turkey; it has simply been mutually profitable for Israel and Turkey to deal with each other over financial and trade factors, until Erdogan began the destruction of secular hegemony in his nation).

It's apparent that the treaty with Egypt is on the verge of being flushed down the Middle Eastern toilet. Once the Islamic extremists take over Egypt, as they are doing right now, you'll hear the distinct sound of that toilet flushing.

So why do you think Jordan has maintained the guidelines of its treaty with Israel, largely without casting stones?

Because the monarchy is sitting on a huge powder keg, and that keg is stamped with the word "Palestinians."

The Dead Sea, Eilat in Israel and Aqaba in Jordan are hugely -- and mutually -- important for the two countries. And Abdullah does not have the power to maintain peaceful control over much of his country, particularly from the Dead Sea to the Red Sea, WITHOUT ISRAEL'S HELP.

The problems of the Gaza/West Bank Divide and the treaty with Jordan are but two thorny issues NOT BEING DISCUSSED BY ANYONE.

Instead, the world is doing what it has ALWAYS done: making up horror stories about the Jewish nation.

Just look at the monstrous acts being performed by these terrible Jews: they're destroying their own democracy (which, even if they pass every disputed law currently under consideration, would still make Israel less oppressive and more democratic than ANY Arab country in the world).

The Jewish Nation of Israel has created an "apartheid" state (in which Israeli Arabs are Knesset members, own their own lands and receive full benefits of citizenship, but don't have to serve in the army -- an "apartheid" most Muslims in other lands would accept gladly).

Israel has committed "racism" and "crimes against humanity" (unlike Sudanese Arab Muslims raping and pillaging hundreds of thousands of their own Islamic brethren ... because they are Black. Or, how about Darfur, Rwanda, Spain against the Basques, England against Ireland, Turkey or Iraq against the Kurds, Turkey against the Armenians? Would you like me to go on?).

Israel has committed the terrible crime of tying the Jewish religion directly into the intrinsic nature of the nation, with no concrete division of religion and state (as though there are not more than 20 nations which are distinctly, irrevocably and oppressively Islamic).

Where does the world come off thinking it has a right to judge Israel while NOT judging others by the same rules?

And why does the world persist in ranting and raving about Israel and the so-called "Palestinians," without addressing the genuine physical realities that exist and will exist if a Palestinian state is created?

Because, let's face it, folks: the world hates the Jews.

Consciously (the Muslim world) or unconsciously (much of the non-Islamic world) -- the world simply cannot deal with the reality of the reincarnation of the nation of Israel. EVERYBODY wishes she would simply disappear (Hitler was only doing what everybody secretly wished somebody would do ...).

Ye gods! Maybe Sophocles was merely writing about the Jews and religion! Is this the son(Islam) and daughter (Christianity) trying to kill Mom and Dad (Judaism) all over again?

HAS THE EU GONE INSANE?

By Simon Fischler

I am sorry is the EU smoking crack?

Are they f---king for real?

It has been printed in HAARETZ today that an EU report recently released makes Israel’s treatment of Israeli Arabs a priority for the EU. This is the pinnacle of hypocrisy, interference in a countries internal matters and colonialism.

Could you imagine the American reaction if the EU decided to make the US governments treatment of Native Americans an EU priority? My g-d, America would toss those idiots off of their stupid continent.

This is coming from European countries that have made wearing muslim garb illegal, building minarets illegal, banning immigration from North Africa and Eastern Europe and many other similar laws.

Look I could care less what they are doing this in their countries, but do me a favor, the EU’s hypocritical stance towards is unforgivable and needs to be fought tooth and nail.

It is very simple the EU should shut its f---king mouth and not talk to Israel about maintaining democracy when they are doing things far more undemocratically.

Now it should be very easy for Israelis to understand why laws must be put into place to police EU and European NGO interference of Israeli internal matters.

UNION

Dear Friends and Supporters of Israel,

I have thought about this for a long, long time: the voice of the pro-Israel camp is so weak in comparison to that of the Radical Left and Pro-Palestinian elements actively trying to destroy our nation.

Facebook is an amazing example of what is wrong with the Pro-Israel camp: Instead of speaking as one voice, one page that represents the Pro-Israel side, there are hundreds -- mine included -- of pages all competing for the same goal. Maybe it is being Jewish, and the need that we Jews have to all voice our individual opinions. Problem is, there is no room anymore for us to be broken up into all these different groups.

We need to come together, and to do it as fast as we can. Time is growing very short; this new American administration is as dangerous to Israel as any bomb made in Iran. Between the Iron Dome, David’s Wand, Pac 3 and Arrow Missile defense systems, an Iranian ballistic missile can be shot out of the sky. Barack Hussein Obama cannot, and he has set his sights on our country.

As we all see, Facebook is a way for us to come together, and if we choose to put our egos to the side and join together under one umbrella page, we will gain the power to influence the political and diplomatic landscape.

We need to do this and to do it NOW. Groups like AIPAC, while being very important are not enough and have in many ways long lost touch with the voice of the common person. That is where we come in, acting as an NGO fighting for Israel. We can move in ways that the Foreign Ministry of Israel cannot. We can fight in ways that are less diplomatic, much like our friends the Palestinians and radical Left have been doing quite effectively, unfortunately.

It is high time we come together, take off the gloves and fight these bastards! We can start on Facebook and move our creation to where ever it needs to go.

I am ready to disband my page, call on all the members who have come to support me and ask them to join the group we all create.

As our forebears did when they went about creating our great country, we of many different opinions and mindsets need to stop, call on the members of our groups to come together and form a new congress, plenum, that is capable of meeting the evil that seeks to take our country, self-determination and freedom away from us.

Thank you very much for your time. I hope to hear from you soon and hope that you will join with me to fight for Israel.

GUERRILLA ISRAEL is here and will remain here to fight for the truth and freedom of Jewish self-determination in our land the land of Israel. We ask all of you who support our noble cause to join us.

Long Live Israel and the Jewish Nation.

NEWT GINGRICH DEFINES TRUTH IN HISTORY WHILE THE ARABS CHOKE ON HIS WORDS

By Schmoel Yitzhak

The truth hurts.

Truth is stranger than fiction.

Take a pick of either of the above adages; or both.

It really doesn't matter which you select because either snugly fits the reaction to Newt Gingrich's political revelation about the "Palestinians."

When the Republican presidential hopeful declared that the Palestinian Arabs were "an invented people," he was -- as they say in America -- talking turkey; and I don't mean Erdogan's Turkey either.

Stung to the very core by the Gingrich statement of fact, the Arabs reacted with a predictable chorus of denials and knee-jerk charges of "racism" from the likes of Saeb Erekat and that noted propagandist Hanan Ashrawi.

They are hot and bothered for good reasons. To wit:

* POLITICAL COURAGE: it took quite a bit of guts -- not to mention a knowledge of history -- for the former speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives to come forward with such a remarkably candid stand and then articulate it with unerring accuracy.

* THE ARAB BOOMERANG; Any attempt by the Erekat-Ashrawi gang of pseudo-intellectuals to refute Gigrach was automatically invalidated by an endless number of Arab leaders over the years. Consider the following:

On March 31, 1977 PLO executive committee member Zahir Muhsein delivered the following unequivocal statement to the Dutch newspaper Trouw:

"The Palestinian people does not exist. The creation of a Palestinian state is only a means for continuing our struggle against the state of Israel for our Arab unity. In reality today there is no difference between Jordianians, Palestinians, Syrians and Lebanese. Only for political and tactical reasons do we speak today about the existence of a Palestinian people.

"Arab national interests demand that we posit the existence of distinct 'Palestinian people' to oppose Zionism. For tactical reasons, Jordan, which is a sovereign state with defined borders, cannot raise claim to Haifa and Jaffa, while as a Palestinian, I can undoubtedly demand Haifa, Jaffa, Beer-Sheva and Jerusalem. However, the moment we reclaim our right to all of Palestine, we will not wait even a minute to unite Palestine and Jordan."

Mind you, Zahir Muhsein was not alone in his statement about the phony aspect of Palestine as a state. This has been repeated over and over by Arabs dating back to pre-World War II days.

Speaking before the British Peel Commission in 1937, the Syrian Arab leader Auni Bey Abdul-Hadi stated without a moment's hesitation that, "There is no such country as Palestine. 'Palestine' is a term the Zionists invented. There is no Palestine in the Bible. Our country was for centuries part of Syria. 'Palestine' is alien to us. It is the Zionists who introduced it."

Or, one could delve all the way back to 1695 when a Dutch Orientalist named Adrian Reland (1676-1718) completed a book in Latin called "Palaestina." It was based on a sightseeing tour of Israel during which he surveyed more than 2,000 places where people lived that were mentioned in the bible or Mishnah.

Talk about the truth hurting the Arab cause, how about this:

Reland concluded that not one settlement in the Land of Israel had a name that was of Arabic origin. Most of the settlement names originated in the Hebrew, Greek, Latin or Roman languages.

Furthermore, he clearly noted that most of the inhabitants of towns such as Jerusalem, Acco, Tzfat, Jaffa, Tiberius and Gaza were Jews and the remainder Christians. There were few Muslims.

Finally, the book debunks the prevailing myth of a "Palestinian heritage," or Palestinian nation.

Gingrich knew whereof he spoke and there still has not been an Arab who has legitimately refuted the Republican candidate with facts. Columnist Melanie Phillips explains it well:

"Gingrich's remark goes to the very heart of the issue," Phillips correctly asserts. "And it is the fact that so many in the intellectual, political and diplomatic world -- including in Israel itself -- find what he said so outlandish that goes a long way to explain why there is still no peace in the Middle East.

" Gosh -- a presidential candidate who actually understands what's going on in the Middle East and speaks the truth about it! No wonder they're so desperate now to stop him."

Ah, yes, the truth does hurt the Arab cause, doesn't it!

WHEN OBAMA'S  'LOVE' AIN'T GRAND

By Schmoel Yitzhak

"I Told You I Love You -- Now Get Out" -- Song by Anita O'Day, circa 1945

Anita O'Day is not around any more but her tune could easily serve as the anthem for Barack Obama's treatment of Israel.

Of course, you won't find His Majesty, the president, barking orders to Benjamin Netanyahu such as "Get to the damn table" for peace talks. That's for his attack hounds to do and he has a whole dog pound full of them.

His Secretary Defense Leon Panetta is one of them. Panetta was author of the "Get to the damn table" bit of revolutionary decorum.

Judging by Panetta's latest utterances, you'd think that the only Middle East history book he ever read was authored by The Grand Mufti of Jerusalem, circa 1941. And, in case you've forgotten, that was the year the Jew-hating Arab leader huddled with Adolf Hitler to complete The Final Solution of European Jewry; ergo: their elimination.

No soon had the Defense Secretary completed his Israel-is-the-peace-obstacle peroration, Hilary Clinton picked it up on the short hop, moaning to the world about a fall of democracy in Israel. Obama's pet Secretary of State got her bowels in an uproar because of a newspaper story which told about Orthodox Israeli neighborhoods where women are required to be separate from men in certain situations.

Dullard that she is, Her Majesty Hilary could have pointed to hundreds of similar situations in her own United States where the very same regulations are upheld by Lubavitcher, Satmar and other ultra-orthodox sects.

But, no, that wouldn't do because -- among many reasons -- the Administration puts Israel in its crosshairs even when logic and fact points to the fatuousness of Clinton and Panetta complaints. Columnist-author Cal Thomas put the lie detector on Hilary and, naturally, it reacted with a LIE, LIE, LIE.

"In case Secretary Clinton hasn't noticed," explained Thomas, "gender segregation has long been practiced in religiously conservative Muslim societies."

Oops! Hilary, you blew it again. Darn that dream, she conveniently forgot about the Arabs.

But she's not the only Obama attack dog who needs muzzling. How about Howard Gutman? He's another one of those Democrat sugar-daddies -- a la George Soros -- who raised more than $500,000 for the president and was rewarded with an ambassadorship to Belgium.

In a speech to a Jewish conference, of all things, Gutman had the chutzpuh to open with an "apology" after which he asserted that global anti-Semitism is linked to Israel's policy toward the Palestinians.

Does this super-rich dolt not understand that Muslim anti-Semitism pre-dates the State of Israel by centuries? The Grand Mufti of Jerusalem was plotting Jewish extermination in Berlin years before Israel became a nation.

"The Mufti," writes historian Omri Ceren, "citing Muslim dogma and history, committed to helping the Nazis fulfill their genocidal ambitions."

Obama's guard dogs seem to follow that Muslim dogma. But let's not forget that Obama does want to be re-elected. Therefore, the master's political interests must be protected because there is the "Jewish vote" about which to worry. Thus, when Panetta and Hilary got stupid again about Israel an apologist was summoned to put out the fire. This time it was Pentagon Press Secretary George Little who was summoned to rationalize Panetta's indecorous attack on Israel.

"The speech was very clear," Little insisted. "The Secretary said there's an unshakeable commitment to Israel's security and he noted that the U.S. is willing to be a partner in forging a lasting peace in the Middle East."

How nice. How inane! Or, to put it in impure Brooklynese, "Who's he kidding?"

What Panetta -- via Little -- essentially is telling Israel is, "I told you I love you, now get out." Even Anita O'Day would have understood that. Columnist and Middle East analyst-author for several decades, Barry Rubin, certainly does.

"The Obama Administration seems to believe that merely repeating endlessly that they support Israel and its security is a substitute for actually supporting Israel and its security in real life," Rubin points out. "To say that Israel and the Palestinians should talk might seem like 'common sense.' But to repeatedly imply that the lack of talk is Israel's fault is unfriendly to Israel.

"The Obama Administration never points out publicly that the absence of talks -- and this can be thoroughly documented -- is entirely due to the Palestinian Authority. In addition, the Palestinian Authority is currently in partnership with Hamas, a factor that has some effect on both Israeli perceptions and Palestinian policy."

On Pennsylvania Avenue they all know that. Obama, Clinton, Panetta, Gutman and Little know it. That obtuse they are not; or maybe, after all, they are.

Maybe the White House actually believes that endless appeasement of the Arabs is the way to go since the president has been pursuing this policy ever since he moved to Washington. Hasn't he figured out that the more you appease, the more the Islamists take you for a weak sucker.  Surely Bibi has figured it out now that he's seen what the Israeli ceding of South Lebanon and Gaza has done for his country's security.

Omri Ceren puts it best when he articulates that Israeli concessions to Arabs always boomerang on Jerusalem.

"Islamists," writes Ceren, "put theological priority on humiliating and extracting concessions from Jews. Vaunted 'confidence-building measures' are more likely to fuel rather than dampen Muslim anti-Semitism."

Right up until the presidential Election Day, 2012, we'll be hearing about Obama's "unshakeable" commitment to Israel but the facts indicate that it's a song-and-dance act. And the theme song of his dance invariably blares like a dissonant trumpet, "I Told You I Love You -- Now Get Out!"

Too bad there isn't a tune called "Actions Speak Louder Than Words." Obama's words about Jews sound nice but the stench of his actions lingers on.

He wants American Jews to vote for him. That's where "I Told You I Love You" comes into play. But, If he's re-elected, Obama's second chorus will be "Now Get Out!"  The President then will do just what he's done for three years; throw Israel under the bus; only this time the Middle East's only true democracy may never be able to crawl out

ROGER COHEN, NOT A JOKE: A DANGEROUS MAN

By Simon Fischler

In a sane world, a world based on truth, a person like Roger Cohen would be the laughing stock of the media world. He would be a joke, albeit a very bad one.

In a world where truth and historical facts came foremost, Roger Cohen would have long ago been dropped by The New York Times. In a world of verity and justice, The Grey Lady would be ashamed to print his vile anti-Israel rhetoric.

Sadly this is not the world we live in.

It is incredibly important for the government of Israel to take notice of Roger Cohen, because his insidious lies against the state of Israel are worth more to the Palestinians than a million AK-47’s or Katushas.

His latest bout of dis- or misinformation printed on the pages of The New York Times lambasts Israel for not doing more to reach out to Turkey, Egypt, the Palestinians and, of course, President Barack Obama.

Worse, the Grand Fabricator blames Israel for the deaths of 9 Turkish Citizens who were attempting to break the Gaza sea blockade.

He does nothing to explain what truly happened on the Marvi Marmara; instead, to make Israel look bad, he intentionally leaves out the facts. He does not tell his readers these Turks were attempting to break what the United Nations (no friend to Israel) has called a legal blockade and to kidnap an Israeli commando.

When the Israeli commandos landed on the deck of the Marvi Marmara that night, they were using paint ball guns (maybe someone should suggest this type of “deadly weapon” to the Syrians) in an attempt to gain the deck without causing deaths to the passengers, some of whom were waiting to lynch the soldiers.

As the Syrian Army has demonstrated against its own people, it would have been far safer and easier for the Israeli commandos to spray the deck of the Marmara with machine gun fire before descending the ropes. This would have guaranteed a successful capture of the Marmara’s deck, but would have lead to many more deaths.

Cohen knows this and he also knows that it is not Israel that should be mending fences with Turkey, but Turkey that should be apologize to Israel. This is exactly what the U.N. Palmer report said.

Next the prevaricator blames Israel for her current diplomatic problems with Egypt! According to Mr. Mendacity Cohen, it is Israel’s fault that she has not done enough to respect Egypt’s new political situation.

Cohen wants you to forget that virtually every Egyptian established political party and their mother has called for revocation of the Israeli-Egyptian peace treaty, while mysterious explosions regularly take place on the pipeline that is supposed to be sending oil into Israel, as per the treaty (Forget the fact that Israel discovered this oil while she held the Sinai and also established most of the profitable Sinai resorts, before returning the Sinai to Egypt as part of the treaty). He also neglects to tell you that the Egyptian government allowed Palestinian terrorists to cross its Sinai borders and murder 8 Israeli citizens.

When the IDF pursued these terrorists into Egypt (since the Egyptians soldiers were doing absolutely nothing) a firefight ensued and Egyptian border guards were killed.

What does that mean? It means the guards who were supposed to prevent these terrorists from infiltrating the border instead assisted them and even attempted to help their getaway.

Despite what REALLY happened, Israel apologized to the Egyptian government, in an attempt to aid U.S. President Barack Obama in maintaining a workable relationship with the military junta running Egypt at the moment.

Israel also did this in an attempt to make the generals running Egypt look good to the Arab Street. Did the Egyptian government ever apologize for the 8 Israeli citizens killed? No, of course not!

Cohen knows it should have been Egypt apologizing to Israel for failing to maintain control of its sovereign borders; not the other way around.

Next, the grand equivocator blames Israel for not respecting Barack Obama’s request for a settlement freeze. This is an outright lie and never should have been printed. Cohen knows that a majority of Times readers don’t remember that Israeli Prime Minster Benjamin Netanyahu did declare a tenth-month settlement freeze.

What Bibi did not agree to was an extension of that freeze after the PA had refused to sit at the negotiating table for nine of the ten months of the initial freeze, and then had the chutzpah to demand an freeze extension after about five minutes of futile discussion.

What does this mean in terms of Mid-East politics?

It means the PA under President Mahmoud Abbas wasted an immense American diplomatic gift from the President of the United States of America.

NO -- I repeat -- NO Israeli government before Netanyahu's had ever agreed to a settlement freeze; not a Rabin government, nor a Peres government and definitely not a government run by Ehud Barak. Why? Because accepting this Palestinian precondition runs contrary to what international law and U.N. resolutions call for. It is made clear in all United Nations resolutions pertaining to resolving the Israeli-Palestinian conflict that their will be no preconditions to negotiations -- just as Israel theoretically cannot demand the Palestinians recognize it as a Jewish State before negotiations start.

So, Prime Minister Netanyahu handed over to Barack Obama this grand political gift and in return got nothing. The Palestinians proceeded to do what they have done to every other American President and Israeli Prime Minister: SPIT IN THEIR FACES AND DEMAND MORE.

Thus, when Obama came back to Bibi asking for an extension of the settlement freeze, Bibi correctly said thanks, but no thanks.

Cohen knows, somewhere deep down in his self-hating heart, that it is not Israel Obama should be furious with, but the Palestinian Authority and Mahmoud Abbas.

To top off this Opus of Deceit, Cohen quotes an article written by Jonathan Freedland called “This is Israel? Not the one I love” for the London Jewish Chronicle.

In this article Freedland harps on the political situation in the city of Hebron.

Sadly Hebron is in an awful state; Cohen and Freedland are right about that. What Cohen and Freedland do not explain is WHY Hebron has been segregated -- why there are streets and roads in Hebron for Palestinians and streets and roads for Israelis.

You see, in 1929 Hebron was a majority Jewish city; not a slight majority, but a large majority. Also in Hebron lies the Cave of the Patriarchs, the second most holy site to the Jewish/Hebrew/Israelite nation.

In 1929 the Arab riots started and the Arab population of Hebron carried out what is today called the Hebron Massacre. Sixty-seven Jews were murdered and the majority Jewish population, a population that had lived in Hebron since the ancient world, was forced out by Arab colonialism and murder.

After the Israeli victory in the Six Day War of 1967, Jews returned to Hebron. One might think the Arabs who then lived in Hebron were lucky it was Jews returning: Arabs were not forced from their homes; they were not murdered in retribution for their actions; their homes were not stolen from them, as the Jews’ homes had been by Arabs in 1929.

The poignant (fabrication) told to the readers of The New York Times about Hebron is what makes someone like Roger Cohen so insidious and dangerous to the Israeli government.

This is why I call on the leaders of Israel to pay special attention to people like Cohen for he truly is an enemy of the state of Israel and the Jewish people. Roger Cohen is creepily dangerous for the state of Israel; he is the type of person who enabled and gave power to the Nazi’s in pre-war Germany.

THE RACIST BOYCOTT

By Simon Fischler

The continuing push by the left -- mostly academic groups in the US and the UK -- to establish an effective boycott targeting both Israel’s higher learning institutions and economic well being is nothing more than racist policy.

It singles out Jews while totally ignoring the dictatorial, tyrannical, fascist policies of the Arabs.

Only in a world as cynical and pathetic as ours would it be possible for supposed liberal, democratic countries and institutions to back a boycott of a country as liberal, democratic and representative as Israel.

Israel’s political make-up is just as democratic as anything you will find in America or Europe.

The United States is governed by two parties, basically the same can be said for England, France and for that matter Europe as a whole.

Israel, sadly in some ways, is far more democratic than that.

In Israel we have at least five influential parties in the Knesset and putting together a coalition in this democratic political landscape is almost as hard as achieving peace with the Palestinians!

Each party in the Knesset is also truly representative of its people.

Israel’s parties are not just truly representative of her political make-up but also of her racial and religious make-up.

How many Indian or Pakistani parties are there in England? None! In the eighteenth Knesset we have three Israeli Arab parties and fifteen Israeli Arab members of the Knesset. This is Apartheid? I think not.

Israel also has parties dedicated to its Mizrachi (Middle-Eastern Jews) Ethiopian and Russian immigrants.

This type of representative democracy is truly missing in America and Europe. In fact Europe today can boast the largest increase of hard-line rightwing, white, anti-immigrant, anti-Jewish, anti-muslim borderline fascist parties: something very European if you take the time to remember the Holocaust, Rhodesia and South Africa!

One of the most bizarre “fads” that has arisen recently is the support of Gay activists for the boycotts of Israel.

I am all for gay rights and so is Israel.

It is far easier to be gay in Israel than it is in America. Israel boasts gay parades in Tel Aviv and even in Jerusalem.

As I have written before I would love to see a gay parade in Mecca or in the Vatican! Israel’s gay community is open, strong and supported by the majority of her citizens.

Gays also serve in all branches of the military, openly. A year and a half ago when Israel suffered an attack on a gay community center in Tel Aviv, the Prime Minister firmly denounced what happened, visited the families of the victims; the people of Israel came out united, strongly condemning the incident in all media outlets and in the Knesset.

It is also a well known fact that gay Palestinians do all they can to come and live in Israel hoping to receive asylum, which they are almost always granted. Why? Because if you are “outed” in the Palestinian Territories, then you are dead. Plan and simple.

Being Homosexual under the PA or Hamas authority is not only a receipe for death, it is death of the most barbaric form. Homosexuals are either stoned to death, beaten to death or hung in city, village or town centers for all to see, including the victims’ families.

When our American and Euro “friends” take the time to overlook all of this, choose to single Israel out and consider boycotting her while ignoring the fact that the Arab world is home to the most tyrannical, racist, chauvinistic, homophobic regimes this can only be defined as racism and anti-semitism.

Those backing the Israel boycott are racist and anti-semitic because they choose to ignore Israel’s fierce defense of her democratic, open and free society -- for ALL her citizens.

The boycott backers and Israel delegitimizers choose to overlook the fact that the alleged “apartheid” being practiced by Israel has nothing to do with any person who is actually a citizen of the country. Any so-called occupation and/or apartheid practices on Israel’s part have, in fact, been directed at an Arab population, fallaciously called Palestinians (since there has never been a “Palestine” except as a coloniallly occupied territory), who have had only one main intent since the birth of Israel: her destruction.

Israel, meanwhile, has offered up a Palestinian State on more than one occasion; each time rejected by the Arab Palestinians because of their desire to destroy Israel.

They who hate Israel back fascist regimes over a democratic one only because she is the Jewish State.

Israel’s detractors and boycotters are racists, fascists and anti-Semites thinly disguised by so-called human rights concerns. It is high time we start exposing them for what they truly are.

I propose Israel’s supporters start an advertisement campaign in America and Europe pointing out Israel’s democratic institutions, while exposing the racist, fascist policies of those who are trying their evil best `to replace the only Jewish State with the twenty-third Arab state.

MY KEY

By Simon Fischler

Just recently I had the pleasure of eating dinner in the Armenian Quarter of the old city of Jerusalem.

Eleven years ago I had found the Armenian Tavern in the quarter and experienced one of the best meals of my life. Then the Tavern was actually owned by Armenians.

Today I am sorry to say it is not the same.

Like in so many places in Jerusalem and Israel, Arabs have bought the Armenian Tavern. This is a stark reminder of how the Arabs are attempting to buy up Israel with Saudi oil money.

They have kept the Armenian Tavern looking the same but the atmosphere is as fake as the Arab claim to the land of Israel.

Our young, very gay, very white and blue-eyed waiter had a tattoo of a key on his arm. After announcing that he was not Armenian but Arab, he proceeded to tell me the key was to his grandfather’s home and was a long story I would not understand.

I guess because I spoke Hebrew to him he knew I was an Israeli Jew.

The arrogance of this child was sickening; at first I felt like pointing out how lucky he was to be living in Israel. It is a FACT that homosexuality is more accepted in Israel (i.e., open gays serve in the IDF without a word) than in America (where they’ve been fighting for years just to admit that there were gays in the US armed forces). Another FACT: if he had been born and raised in either the West Bank or Gaza Strip, he could have been dead ages ago, thanks to his sexual orientation.

Although he and the rest of the Arabs posing as Armenians had done a fair job of ruining my meal, I was not going to let them totally destroy it by dragging me into an argument.

What this child does not understand is that I also posses a key to a house and that key trumps his!

That’s right: in my possession is the key to my great-grandfather’s home; my great, great-grandfather’s home and also to my great, great, great-grandfather’s home. In fact I posses a family key that dates all the way back to the first Kingdom of Israel.

This key has stayed with us through Ancient Greek tyranny, Babylonian tyranny, Assyrian tyranny, Roman Tyranny, Arab and Muslim Tyranny, Crusader Tyranny, again Arab and Muslim colonial tyranny and finally modern European tyranny.

In every case the colonialist empires and peoples named above have tried to wrest that key from my hand and in all cases they have failed.

From building mosques on my nation’s Temple Mount to creating imaginary peoples and places, these groups have done everything to steal my key. They have failed.

This key to my home is not just physical, nor is it imprinted on my skin. I do not need something that simplistic or materialistic to retain this eternal key. No,the key to the Hebrew, Israelite, Jewish and Israeli nation is much deeper than that: it is in my GENES. This key of mine was in my DNA long before the Arab nation swept in violent conquest out of the sand dunes in which they had been born.

This key, my key, the Jewish Nation’s Key supersedes all other keys to the land and is locked in our name, our hearts, our souls.

JEW, FROM JUDEA, THE KINGDOM OF DAVID AND RIGHTFUL OWNER TO THE LAND OF ISRAEL.

DON’T BELIEVE THE HYPE AND FIGHT THE POWERS THAT BE

By Simon Fischler

Code Pink! What a name, but this name is a fallacy. It should really be changed to CODE BROWN as in BROWN SHIRTS, because that is what this movement stands for.

Code Pink is a militant, anti-Semitic group that has one goal: robbing Jews of their integrity, stealing Jewish self-determination and replacing it with Arab colonialism. They cloak their insidious intentions by claiming that Israeli products -- most notably right now Ahava, a beauty product line made from Dead Sea minerals -- are produced and/or manufactured either in what they call West Bank “settlements,” or on lands “stolen” from Palestinians.

This group will do anything to harm Israel, especially financially.

Like the Nazi Brown Shirts of olden times, Code Pink attempts to instill fear in the supporters of freedom and democracy -- that is Israel -- by brute force.

Their pathetic attempts to cover this up are easily rooted out.

Code Pink has failed to move major retail outlets into boycotting products made in Israel, largely due to the Pro-Israel Buycott countermovement. Where they have succeeded, unfortunately, is in intimidating small businesses.

Many prewar Germans knew voting for the Nazi party and Hitler was wrong. This is where the Brown Shirts came in handy. Their vicious tactics at German polling stations guaranteed a Nazi victory.

Code Pink is no different.

They brutalize small businesses in the same fashion, pushing the little people around, just as the brown shirts did.

Unlike major retail stores these small businesses do not have the finances to withstand people outside their stores spreading lies and scaring away customers. It is also harder for every little business being attacked by these fascists in Pink to garner attention sufficient to bring in the support of the Buycott campaign.

The question is: what do we, the supporters of Israel and small businesses do to fight these modern day anti-Semitic brutes?

Hit back and hit back physically.

Just as Benny Siegal and Myer Lansky sent in their boys to break up the American Nazi Bund league gatherings, the supporters of Israel must stop pulling their punches. We can no longer be patsies.

If there is going to be a Code Pink protest, it needs to be met head on, physically JDL or those truly concerned about the Jewish Nation and Israel need to be organized and put to the task of physically confronting these fascists. It is the only way to confront modern day anti-Semites.

History has shown that turning the other cheek and appeasing anti-Semites merely makes them stronger and weakens freedom.

RE-DEFINING STUPID, AMERICAN-STYLE

By Schmoel Yitzhak

According to my weathered edition of Roget's Thesaurus, there are more than forty synonyms for the word STUPID.

A couple of my favorites are addlebrained, boneheaded, empty-minded, rattlepated and thick-witted.

After reading a communique from Washington, D.C., I will submit yet another alternate to duncical.

Leon Panetta.

His official, diplomatic title is United States Defense Secretary. But based on his most recent statements, Panetta sounds as if he's auditioning for the role of Dopey Dildock.

In a prepared statement to reporters, Panetta called on Israel to take diplomatic steps to address what he described as its growing isolation in the Middle East.

Now, wait just a minute, can Panetta --= this latest mistake appointment by erroneous president Barack Obama -- be serious?

Consider for a moment the possible countries from which Panetta would like Israel to de-isolate itself. Let's start with the next-door neighbors.

Syria?

Puh-leeze!

Bashar al-Assad's country is at war with itself. Conservatively, more than 4,000 Syrians have been killed by Assad's regime. Does Panetta suggest that Benjamin Netanyahu embrace the mass murderer? Even his Arab brothers have turned their backs on the Syrian.

Lebanon?

Ahem!

Hezbollah, itching to start another war with Israel, runs the country with a little help from the Lebanese Army which seems to exist only to assist Hassan Nasrallah. Lebanon's last "gift" to Israel was a rocket attack on the Galillee. I guess that rules out any lovey-dovey moves with Israel's Northern neighbor.

Turkey?

That would be a possibility if the year was 1948 and a megalomaniac such as Recep Tayyip Erdogan did not exist. As Panetta knows only too well, over the past year Erdogan's attitude toward Israel has escalated from hostile to malevolent to poisonous.

Egypt?

The Muslim Brotherhood is in the process of taking control of the nation previously run by Hosni Mubarak. What do we know about this group? Well, the respected Simon Wiesenthal Center has this to say about the group that will lead Egypt's next government: The Brotherhood is an enemy of democracy and peace, is hostile to Israel and -- in time -- will kill the Egyptian-Israel peace treaty.

Hamas-Fatah?

One group makes no bones about its desire to wipe Israel off the map while the other wants to form a "unity government" with the group that wants to exterminate Israel. Both Hamas and the PA militantly refuse to recognize Israel as the Jewish state.

That takes care of every single country surrounding Israel. Each one has deliberately chosen to isolate Israel while the Middle East's only legitimate democracy would have to surrender Tel Aviv, Haifa and Jerusalem to satisfy the Arabs and to end what Panetta calls its "isolation."

Surely, the U.S. Defense Secretary knows better but he works for a president whose behavior toward Israel in virtually every area of meaningful security is either blatantly or -- depending on the occasion -- subtly hostile.

Panetta: "Unfortunately, over the past year, we've seen Israel's isolation from its traditional security partners in the region grow."

Is this man sane? When one considers the obvious facts, can one take this man seriously?

Assad is busy slaying his own countrymen by the thousands. If he wasn't so distracted by a Civil War, he'd love to slay Israelis.

Nasrallah is stockpiling bigger and longer-range rockets and -- guess what? -- they're not being aimed at Iran.

Erdogan has spent the last year trying to find ways and means to goad Israel into war.

The Muslim Brotherhood enjoys Jew-hating as its national pastime.

Hamas-Fatah would end Israel's isolation if Mahmoud Abbas took over the Knesset and Bibi was exiled to Norway.

That should explain why "stupid" is an understatement in describing Panetta's formula for ending Israel's "isolation!"

THE PALESTINIANS PLOY

By Simon Fischler

Can no one see that good, American tax payer money is being flushed down the toilet by the Palestinian leadership.

Mahmaoud Abbas and his underlings are becoming worse than Yassar Arafat when it comes to their hypocrisy.

Abbas has the nerve to say he has no pre-conditions to renewing peace negotiations, then demands that Israel freeze all settlement in Judea and Shomron. He claims he has no pre-conditions, then has the nerve to demand the international community recognize the 1949 armistice line as the border of a future Palestinian state before he returns to the negotiating table.

If this were to happen then there would be no reason for Abbas to return to the table because there would be nothing to negotiate.

The PA does not want to talk peace with Israel for one simple reason: they would actually have to compromise to agree on genuine peace. This does not fit into the Palestinian playbook. They are not interested in real peace, or at least one that would recognize both nations’ (one Arab, one Jewish) right to independence.

The Palestinians still want all the land for themselves and have shown that to be their goal on numerous occasions, i.e. Camp David, when Arafat turned down statehood ostensibly because of the Palestinian Right of Return, which would destroy Israel.

Now the Palestinians feel they have added a Hail Mary pass to their playbook, one that would nail Israel to the cross: a Unilateral Declaration of Independence.

This would be illegal in international law because of accords signed during the Oslo agreements. It would also be in direct violation of UN resolution 242, which demands a negotiated agreement. But that does not seem to bother the Palestinians, thanks to Kosovo’s recent unilateral declaration of independence!

By unilaterally declaring independence the Palestinians believe they will get world support behind them, thereby defeating Israel diplomatically and thus capturing their main goals: all the land in Judea and Shomron, East Jerusalem and the Temple Mount, plus the Right if Return for all Palestinian refugees. That is the destruction of Israel as we know it.

The Israeli government seems to sleeping on this one, which is unfortunate. This is not the past and a Palestinian declaration of statehood today would not be the same as the PLO declaring statehood at a PNC convention in Algiers circa 1988

The government of Israel must mobilize quickly to pre-empt and be ready for this new Palestinian ploy when and if it happens. The question is how do you do that?

There will be two, possibly three, stages of fighting Israel must prepare for.

Pre-State diplomatic battle-

Israel must start – now -- by emphasizing the criminality of the act, both in International Law and in stark contrast to UN resolution 242, if carried out by the Palestinian leadership. It should be made clear to all international parties that this is not the same situation as Kosovo. (Simon – why isn’t it the same situation as Kosovo?)

If the Palestinians unilaterally declare statehood and break UN resolution 242, Israel will no longer be obliged to abide by any of the UN resolutions pertaining to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. Israel then could annex whatever lands she desires, with no land given back in return.

Post Palestinian state declaration-

Israel should be the first state to recognize the new Palestinian entity.

That’s right!

Israel, as it has in the past, should recognize the Palestinians right to freedom and self-determination. But it must be stressed that should the Palestinians have their state, they must now bear the full responsibility of statehood!

Israel will stop protecting the PA from Hamas. Israel will stop supplying the Palestinians with electricity, gas, water and etc. That would become the responsibility of the new Palestinian government and their oil-rich Arab brethren!

Most importantly the Palestinian state will have to take full responsibility for policing and controlling its population. If they fail to do this Israel legally will be able to declare war on Palestine.

War with Palestine-

After Israel’s recognition of Palestine, she needs to let the Palestinians attempt to run their country with no interference; even helping wherever possible.

But at the first instance of Palestinian aggression, Israel must launch a lighting quick ground campaign like Russia’s war with Georgia, or Israel’s Sinai Campaign in 1956. It will have to be quick and punishing; all of the PA state will have to be taken over. When the dust finally settles and the UN steps in, Israel will agree to leave all areas occupied during the war for permanent peace between the two countries … NOTHING LESS!
